Project Manager Bob Marks has been a valuable team member at ABW for more than two decades. It just won’t be the same without him!
On April 27, 2018, employees at ABW said farewell and congrats to their esteemed colleague Bob Marks as he officially entered retirement. Since the mid 1990s the Senior Project Manager has played a major role in many of the company’s largest and most ambitious projects including notable Aerospace and Nuclear work.
Watching the company grow and innovate as technology advanced, Bob was front and center for the transformation of American Boiler Works into the ABW Technologies of today.
“Bob has been a valuable part of nearly every major project we’ve done over the past 20 years. His expertise and enthusiasm sets him apart, and he will certainly be missed by all of us,” said General Manager Bobby Fitzpatrick.
In addition to his PM duties, Bob served as a mentor to many new Project Managers and Project Manager Assistants over the years. He went above and beyond his own role to ensure that newcomers had the guidance and support they needed to succeed.
When asked how she would describe Bob, Quality Manager Linda Jeschke said, “Bob is definitely the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.”
Bob plans to spend his retirement traveling, gardening, re-starting masters swimming, doing home projects and reading. Sounds delightful; we’ll miss you, Bob!
