Featured project: stainless steel ASME “U” certified vessels

The Brief:

Create stainless steel ASME “U” Certified vessels to serve as transport and storage containers for our client, plus all the the necessary lifting and handling equipment.

Project overview:

Our team constructed ASME “U” certified vessels from safety-significant materials, commercial-grade-dedicated through our NQA-1 Quality Assurance Program.  We fabricated all internal and external components from 304/304L stainless steel, with the end result being approximately 60” diameter, 10’ tall and weighing  4,700 lbs.

All pressure boundary welds were radiographed, hydro tested and helium leak tested for acceptance per ASME Code requirements.
